The Brief

A customer contacted us wanting a ring made from an image that held real meaning from his past, and he knew exactly how he wanted it to look. The original image, supplied below, features a fist in the colours of the Irish flag. Requested in both Sterling Silver and brass.

The Design

Looking at the image, the detail in the fist and the bold flag colours were the standout elements we needed to honour. The challenge, and the fun part, was translating that into a three-dimensional ring that captured the same energy. We mapped out how the fist would sit as the centrepiece of the band, with the Irish flag colours carried through in enamel work to stay true to the original.

The Wax Mold

With the image locked in, our craftsmen get to work. Every curve, every detail from your design is carefully translated into a wax mold, shaped by hand with the kind of precision that only comes from experience. This is the stage where your idea stops being flat and starts taking form, and getting it right here is everything.

The Finished Ring

The finished Irish Fist ring came out exactly as the customer envisioned, the fist bold and commanding as the centrepiece, cast in Sterling Silver and brass to give it that raw, solid feel. The detail held up beautifully from the wax mold through to the final cast, with nothing lost in translation.

Once approved, we add any enamel colours to match your original image. From there, it's yours, a one-of-a-kind ring to wear proudly every day as a symbol of what matters to you.
